I have a passion for retail and fashion. I love being on the floor, styling clients and have been doing so since I was 14 years old. There is nothing more satisfying than making people look beautiful, hip and stylish. Having the opportunity to style on Helmut Lang’s retail floor on Melrose was such a treat! I loved being with their team of such experienced brand ambassadors, helping the LA client and tourist who I know and love so well. The Helmut Lang brand is essentially black, white and grey, which are the 3 easiest colors to sell, and the 3 I love to wear the most! The product is edgy, sleek and cool. Helmut Lang is a brand that has a cult following, with loyal fans. I sold Helmut Lang in my men’s store back in the day on Robertson so it was really fun to be able to sell it again and be a part of the Helmut Lang culture and their retail experience. I also loved my outfit that day which was the Bat Wash Pull-On Jeans for $195 and the Entity Jersey Tank for $115. I layered the black tank over the white. It was super sexy and sleek.
